Galentine's Day

Friends Need Valentines, Too!

This card was inspired by Emma Goddard from Coastal Crafter.  She is one of the 2019 Artisan Designers for Stampin' Up! She used a LOT more layers in her ombre card (https://www.coastalcrafter.com/artisan-jan-fb-2/) in the very first Artisan blog hop of the year, but I just wanted to use Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather, along with Whisper White to give this just little a bit of a lace feel for a Galentine's Day (get it? Gal + Valentine = Galentine) card for a girlfriend!

If you look closely, you can see that there is a white layer of lace at the bottom.

I used one of the stamps from the "Part of my Story" Stamp Set from Sale-a-Bration for the sentiment.  Doesn't "know that today a friend is thinking of you" seem like the perfect sentiment for a friend?
