It is a Whale of A Time!

Yesterday was my New Year's Day (well, maybe New Year's Day after!) Bingo and card workshop. This year it was, of course, virtual! In addition to Bingo it was also the January - June Mini Catalog kick off party! There was a tour through the catalog, a card show, and we looked at some new ribbon and embellishments! It was different, but still fun!

We stamped with the Whale of A Time Suite. This suite features some under the sea 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper (DSP), a cute and punny stamp set, pretty sequins featuring a pink shell sequin, Pool Party ribbon AND a Whale Builder punch!

Check out the cards we made - and the punny sentiments!

You're kind of a big deal! You know, because Whales are big!

This card is mostly layered DSP. The only stamping is on the 2" Basic White Circle. There's a little bit of seaweed framing the sentiment and a small school of fish swimming through.

May all of your birthday fishes come true - birthday fishes! LOL

The scene on this card is all stamped using stamps in the stamp set! I love the tiny seahorse! If you look at the bottom of the card you can see the cute pink shell sequins!

Thanks a ton - because, again, whales are huge!

The cool fish pattern is actually a piece of DSP, I just turned it on it's side so that it looks like the fish are spiraling around the whale. The whale is punched in Pacific Point onto Pool Party cardstock and then punched out. The little water spray coming from his blow hole comes from the punch, too!

Whale Done! - You know, like well done, but for a whale!

This card was so simple! The seaweed DSP was attached to the card base, the pool party banner was just trimmed with paper snips and attached, the whale was punched from one of the pieces of DSP! Whale done was stamped onto Granny Apple Green cardstock and attached over a piece of the sheer pool party ribbon.

I hope you love these punny cards as much as I do! If you'd like to make these cards, the supplies that I used are linked below!

Have a wonderful and creative 2021!
Joyful Stamping,
Elizabeth
