It's a Pandemic

I read a wonderful article about coping with the emotional and physical aspects of quarantine and the fear from the unknowns. The best advice was to remind yourself that you're living during a pandemic. When you feel like you can't cope with your emotions; when you are tired of hearing the word "mom;" when you're just DONE with school work; when you feel like you don't have anything to look forward to...any and all of it. Just say to yourself "I'm living during a pandemic; things are different and what I'm feeling is ok" Because this too shall pass.

I made myself a sign to hang on the wall that reminds me of this...because it's easy to forget about what's going on outside of our houses and to let our new and strange emotions overwhelm us. I'm sharing it with you.  If this helps you like it does me, feel free to save this for your use.

I started feeling more like myself this week at about the six weeks of work from home point. It worried me a bit that it took me SO long, but I reminded myself that it's my first pandemic and all of these feelings are new. It takes the time that it takes. So, if you're right there with me or if you're not there yet, its ok. It's a pandemic!

I decided on the first day of quarantine to stamp live on Facebook every week day at noon. I've been posting the videos on YouTube.  If you'd like to watch them, here's the link.

Stay tuned for a post about the amazing COVID-19 digital stamp set that Stampin' Up! has released!

Until then,
Stay safe and healthy!
Elizabeth
